DAY 1: HOBART-FREYCINET NATIONAL PARK

A journey of discovery! Start with a guided tour of Hobart, Constitution Dock, the historic Battery Point and across the Tasman Bridge to historic Richmond. Visit the old jail and St Johns Church, and look at some of the grand old homes. Stop at Tasmania's finest heritage village, Ross. A drive through the town uncovers the magnificent streetscape on the banks of the Macquarie River. Visit the famous wool center and enjoy a delicious Aussie lunch served in the original old bakery building. After lunch, travel through Campbell Town and forest areas toward the coast and into the magnificent Freycinet National Park. Overnight: Freycinet* (L)

DAY 2: FREYCINET NATIONAL PARK-HOBART

This morning, stroll along the beach or just sleep in. Enjoy breakfast overlooking the bay. Your guide will meet you at 10:30am for a walk up to Cape Tourville with its outstanding views of the Tasman and Freycinet Peninsula. Returning to the vehicle, journey around Great Oyster Bay and down the coast enjoying breathtaking views and beautiful countryside to Swansea, for a stop at Kate's Berry Farm. Marvel at the views of Freycinet National Park while sipping on tea or coffee, accompanied by delicious scones with cream and homemade jam. Travel down the coast and through rich farming areas before arriving back in Hobart around 5:30pm. (B)
